Learning a foreign language, especially English, can open doors for everyone.
The English learning program has been running since 2014. The courses have helped women, and men and youths improve their language skills, many with the goal of finding a better job, or being more connected to the world at large. Learning a foreign language can be very empowering, especially for many of our students who are refugees from Syria or IDPs from all over Iraq.
We currently have 8 teachers, and run this program during the summer months. This gives children a chance to participate as well. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. As with other activities, our aim is to increase knowledge, provide opportunity, and bring people together.
