Resolution 22/24 (Syria) A/HRC/RES/22/24

On 12 April 2013 the UN Human Rights Council passed Resolution 22/24 on the situation in Syria. Resolution 22/24 expresses grave concern at the continuing escalation of violence, including the widespread and systematic gross violations of human rights. The resolution also calls upon all parties to put an end to all attacks against civilian populations and reiterates its call for the government to meet its responsibility to protect the Syrian population.
