On 15 October Global Centre Research Analyst Jahaan Pittalwala was interviewed on TRT World regarding the failure of the UN Human Rights Council to renew the mandate of the Group of Eminent Experts on Yemen. During the interview Jahaan discussed how this failure impacts accountability for atrocities perpetrated in Yemen, the lobbying campaign by Saudi Arabia to influence this vote and how the UN Security Council has also failed to act on the crisis.
